The living room floor lamp ASKA is not a classic freestanding lamp: a fine cable is stretched between floor and ceiling, carrying cone-shaped light heads that float in front of the wall like glowing drops.
Design and materials
The slim metal cones come in brushed gold or black. Each head has a white diffuser on its upper side and casts its light upwards, creating soft, focused pools of light on the wall. Another cone forms the top end at the ceiling. At the floor, a dark weight with light veining keeps the cable taut, and the mains cable leads off from there. You choose between one, two or three light heads, each in gold or black. The result is a very light, vertical line that takes up almost no space.

Where the lamp shines
In the living room, ASKA adds a vertical accent beside the sofa or in an empty corner without taking up floor space. In the bedroom, it frames the head of the bed with soft light and leaves the bedside table free. It looks especially beautiful in front of a pale, calm wall, where the cones of light draw an even pattern. Gold suits warm tones, wood and linen; black suits graphic, pared-back rooms.
