Tiffany Lamps

A Tiffany lamp fills a room with coloured light: its shade is made of many small pieces of glass, joined into a mosaic by fine dark solder lines. Switched on, flowers, dragonflies or geometric panels glow in warm tones; switched off, the lamp remains a decorative object. In this collection you will find Tiffany lamps in the classic style as table lamps, wall lights and small pendant lights.

Which Tiffany lamp is right for you?

  • Table lamps: most models stand around 36 cm tall and suit a bedside table, sideboard or chest of drawers – such as MATTI with its relief base or NANNA with its ring of dragonflies. At 48 cm tall with a 30 cm shade, MOLLY is the largest table lamp in the range.
  • Wall lights: BJORK holds its glass shade on an ornate wall arm, while KIAN, a half trapezoid shade in glass mosaic, sits flat against the wall.
  • Pendant lights: small pendants such as EMMI or ELLY, with glass butterflies, suit a hallway, an alcove or a small table. ELIN, with its domed shade and chain suspension, makes a bolder statement.
  • Motif and colour: flowers and dragonflies feel romantic and playful, while geometric panels such as those on MILLA are calmer, in the spirit of the Mission and Art Deco styles.

Light and bulbs

Coloured glass filters the light, so a Tiffany lamp is above all mood lighting rather than task lighting. Choose a warm white LED bulb of around 2700 K so the colours glow richly; for most models the bulb is not included. The table lamps simply plug in and are switched with a push switch. How the wall and pendant lights are connected is shown on each product page – leave any hardwired installation to a qualified electrician.

Frequently asked questions

Are these antique Tiffany lamps?

No. “Tiffany” refers to a style here: lamps with shades of coloured glass mosaic. They are new lamps in that tradition, not collector’s pieces.

How do I care for the glass shade?

Switch the lamp off, let it cool and remove dust with a soft, dry cloth or a brush.
