How to use gold and brass
Brass looks especially refined with warm tones such as beige, terracotta, green and walnut, and creates an elegant contrast with black. Above a dining table, a single gold light is often enough as a focal point – wall lights or table lamps in the same finish complete the look. Warm white light of around 2700 to 3000 K makes the metal glow richly.
Brass and gold finishes may vary slightly depending on production. The exact finish is stated on each product page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I care for brass on a pendant light?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasives.
Gold or brass – what is the difference?
Brass is an alloy with a warm golden tone; we also use “gold” for metals with a gold-coloured coating. The finish is stated for each model.
How high should a gold pendant light hang above a dining table?
Like any pendant light, about 60 to 70 cm above the tabletop. That way the brass sheen comes into its own without the light causing glare.
