The ceramic pendant light SAVI carries painted patterns in indigo and earth tones on its small, flared shade, recalling traditional tableware.
Design and material
The glazed ceramic shade has an ivory ground, a brown ring at the top edge and a slightly irregular surface in a wabi-sabi style. Six patterns are available: indigo flowers, blue and brown stripes, fine herringbone, wide navy stripes, round dots and floral tendrils. The brass fitting and the twisted brown fabric cable complement the ceramic. When switched on, the light falls warmly downwards, and the pattern stays visible on the inner edge too. The brushwork of the patterns may vary slightly from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In the bedroom, SAVI hangs low above the bedside table and replaces the bedside lamp. Above a small dining table or in a dining nook, two or three lights with different patterns look lively and personal. In the kitchen, above the worktop, it brings a hint of country-house charm. Japandi and boho interiors with linen and wood suit it particularly well.
