Floor lamps bring light to eye level and are ideal for rooms where the ceiling light alone is not enough. How to find the right floor lamp
- For reading: place the lamp to the side of and slightly behind the armchair, so the light falls over your shoulder.
- Above the sofa: an arc lamp brings light to the middle of the room without the need for a ceiling light. Allow enough space for its reach and base.
- As ambient light: a fabric shade or dome diffuses the light softly into the room.
