Ceiling lights give a room its main light – and at DecoHarmonie, its character too. How to find the right ceiling light
- Ceiling height: for low ceilings, flat models such as alabaster or LED discs are ideal, as they sit close to the ceiling.
- Light effect: opal glass and alabaster diffuse light softly across the whole room, while spotlights cast focused beams onto a worktop, painting or shelf.
- Size: as a rule of thumb, a living space suits a diameter of about one tenth of the room’s diagonal; in a hallway, compact models are enough.
- Bulb: many models have integrated LEDs, others a holder for a replaceable bulb. The details are listed for every light.
