The travertine ceiling light BAYA layers three materials into one compact form: a shallow stone dish, a wooden dome and a glowing glass globe.
Design and materials
A round rose of solid wood with a walnut finish sits directly against the ceiling. Beneath it spreads a shallow dish of beige travertine, 25 cm in diameter, with clearly visible pores. Under the dish follows a half-sphere of solid wood, also with a walnut finish, from which a globe of white opal glass emerges. When switched on, the glass glows softly and evenly, while the stone above looks matt and warm. The grain and pores of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In the entrance or hallway, BAYA gives a friendly first light and suits a wooden coat rack well. In the bedroom or a corner of the living room, it works as a compact ceiling light with character. As it can also be mounted on the wall, it can be used beside a door or above a chest of drawers, for example. Walnut furniture, natural stone and pale walls pick up its materials.
