The travertine ceiling light ZALO is a small cube of natural stone with round openings, behind which an opal glass globe glows.
Design and material
The cube of genuine beige travertine has softly rounded edges and is pierced on four sides by large circular openings; the underside is open. Inside sits a white opal glass globe that spreads the light evenly. At the top, a round base of solid wood with a walnut finish connects the cube to the ceiling. When switched on, the light grazes the porous inner faces of the stone and draws soft contrasts. The veining and pores of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In an entrance or a narrow hallway, ZALO adds a visible yet calm accent to the ceiling and welcomes you with warm light. Several cubes in a row add rhythm to a long corridor. Mounted on the wall, the light works beside a coat rack, above a bench or next to the bed. Wood, terracotta, natural fibres and muted greens pair well with stone and walnut.
