The rope floor lamp BALDR strings small, opal white light globes along a fine black line that reaches from floor to ceiling – a glowing vertical that takes up hardly any space.
Design and materials
A thin, black rope is tensioned between two black, cylindrical end pieces: the upper one sits against the ceiling, the lower one stands on the floor as a weight, and the mains cable leads away from there. Opal white globes, 10 cm in diameter, sit on the rope at even intervals. When switched on, they glow softly and without glare in all directions and set calm points of light in front of the wall. You choose between two, three or four globes: the two-globe version is designed for heights up to 300 cm, the three- and four-globe versions for heights up to 350 cm, each adjustable.

Where the lamp shines
In the living room, BALDR draws a glowing line beside the sofa or in a corner without taking up any floor space. In a reading corner beside an armchair or bookshelf, it creates a calm mood in the evening. In the bedroom, next to the headboard, it replaces the bedside lamp and keeps the surface free. Black and opal white suit minimalist, Scandinavian and modern interiors with light walls.
