The mid century floor lamp OLVA sets a tall, slightly conical fabric shade on a slender cone base – a clean silhouette reminiscent of living rooms from the fifties and sixties.
Design and materials
The base tapers to a point from the floor upwards and has a surface with visible grain, either in warm brown or in a light wood look. Above it sits the shade in ivory fabric, edged top and bottom with a narrow, dark brown band. When switched on, the light shines softly through the fabric and also falls up and down out of the open shade. In the 150 cm version, the shade measures 48 cm in width and 65 cm in height, and the base 20 cm at the bottom. The more compact brown version is 126 cm high, with a 35 cm wide shade.
