The glass pendant light EIKE is an almost round glass globe with softly waved vertical ribs – carried by a small brass cap and a fine gold-colored cable.
Design and materials
The ribs run from the upper rim to the base of the globe and make the colored glass shimmer lighter and darker depending on how the light falls. Inside, the bulb hangs visibly in the center of the globe from a slim brass stem; when switched on, the glass glows like a colored lantern. Four glass colors are available: lightly smoked gray glass, amber, petrol blue and pink. Each color comes in two sizes. The brass-colored details link the lamp with wood, linen and warm colors.

Where the lamp shines
Above an oak dining table, two or three EIKE globes look lovely in a row, ideally in different glass colors. Beside the bed, a low-hung globe can replace the bedside lamp. In the hallway or above a dresser, amber or pink adds a warm touch of color, while smoked glass looks calm and understated. The small size suits niches and nightstands, the larger one the dining table or a single lamp in a bright room.
