Dimmable Ceiling Lights

Dimmable ceiling lights let you take the light from bright everyday use to a quiet evening glow. In this collection you will find ceiling lights in travertine, alabaster, ceramic and solid wood – with opal glass globes, stone cubes or adjustable spots – that dim with a dimmable bulb and a suitable dimmer switch. Because you choose the bulb yourself, you also decide on its color temperature and brightness – warm white for the evening, for example.

How dimming works

  • Dimmable bulb: every model in this collection takes a separate bulb, which is not included. When you buy one, make sure it is marked as dimmable.
  • External dimmer: dimming is done with a wall dimmer, which is not included either. It should be compatible with your LED bulbs; have it installed by a licensed electrician.
  • Wattage: the maximum wattage per bulb holder is listed on each product page – for example max. 10 W on ZALO and JUNO, and max. 40 W per spot on BORA and BERA.
  • One or several light points: multi-light models such as VOLA with two glass globes or BORA with three spots spread the light over a larger area.
  • Ceiling or wall: many of these lights, such as ZALO, BAYA and RITO, can be mounted on the ceiling or the wall. According to its product page, NIKA is also suitable for sloped ceilings.

The models at a glance

The travertine ceiling light ZALO pairs a stone cube with opal glass and a walnut finish. DESA is a drum of real alabaster with brass details; switched on, every panel shows its own veining. For directional light, choose the spot bars BERA, with three or four travertine spots, and NIKA, with three swiveling fluted wood spots. RITO brings wavy ceramic and opal glass to the ceiling, while SIRA combines solid wood and travertine with satin glass globes.

Dimmed light works especially well in the bedroom, the living room and over the dining table – bright for cleaning up, warm for winding down. Natural stone varies in veining and tone from piece to piece. Dimensions and installation notes are listed on each product page.
