The glass pendant light EIKE is an almost round glass globe with softly waved vertical ribs – carried by a small brass cap and a fine gold-coloured cable.
Design and materials
The ribs run from the upper rim to the base of the globe and make the coloured glass shimmer lighter and darker depending on how the light falls. Inside, the bulb hangs visibly in the centre of the globe from a slim brass stem; when switched on, the glass glows like a coloured lantern. Four glass colours are available: lightly smoked grey glass, amber, petrol blue and pink. Each colour comes in two sizes. The brass-coloured details link the lamp with wood, linen and warm colours.

Where the lamp shines
Above an oak dining table, two or three EIKE globes look lovely in a row, ideally in different glass colours. Beside the bed, a low-hung globe can replace the bedside lamp. In the hallway or above a chest of drawers, amber or pink adds a warm touch of colour, while smoked glass looks calm and understated. The small size suits niches and bedside tables, the larger one the dining table or a single lamp in a bright room.
