The retro floor lamp MIRA brings back the look of the seventies: a glossy orange acrylic dome glows above a dark brown metal frame – either as a wide-reaching arc lamp or as a straight standing lamp.
Design and materials
The shade in transparent orange acrylic is edged in dark brown at the lower rim; when switched on, it glows warmly and directs the light downward. In the arc version, a dark brown rod rises from a round base and flows into a wide arc, at the end of which a silver-colored metal piece holds the shade. At 165 cm high and 100 cm wide overall, the lamp reaches over an armchair or the corner of the sofa. The straight 155 cm version carries the shade on a two-tone rod: dark brown at the bottom, gold-colored at the top. Its shade measures 35 cm in diameter and 17.5 cm in height, and the flat base 25 cm.

Where the lamp shines
In the living room, the arc version stands to the side behind the sofa or next to the reading chair and lets the orange light fall from above onto the coffee table and your book. The straight version fits neatly beside a sideboard, at the head of the bed in the bedroom or in a corner that needs a pop of color. In the evening, the glowing acrylic shade creates a warm movie-night mood. Orange and dark brown go well with mid-century furniture, corduroy, velvet, teak and natural tones.
