Design and materials
The base is a long, slender iron cone that measures 22 cm at the floor and narrows steadily toward the top. It is coated either in black or in brown with a wood effect – the brown version is a finish on metal, not solid wood. Between the cone and the shade sits an accent: a white marble-effect sphere or a glossy, lens-shaped ornament in gold. The light fabric shade, Ø 44 cm, is laid in tight pleats; when switched on, the warm light traces every fold and falls softly downward. TOVA thus combines a graphic basic form with the warmth of textiles.
