The pleated floor lamp TOVA sets a finely pleated fabric shade on a tall, tapering metal cone – a sculptural silhouette with the calm of Japanese-inspired design.
Design and materials
The base is a long, slender iron cone that measures 22 cm at the floor and narrows steadily towards the top. It is coated either in black or in brown with a wood effect – the brown version is a finish on metal, not solid wood. Between the cone and the shade sits an accent: a white marble-effect sphere or a glossy, lens-shaped ornament in gold. The light fabric shade, Ø 44 cm, is laid in tight pleats; when switched on, the warm light traces every fold and falls softly downwards. TOVA thus combines a graphic basic form with the warmth of textiles.

Where the lamp shines
In the living room, TOVA stands beside the sofa or a reading chair; the large shade directs the light onto the seat and side table. In the bedroom, it accompanies the bed or a chest of drawers with a muted, warm glow. Next to a sideboard in the dining area, the slender cone looks like a decorative object. Black with a white sphere suits clear, modern rooms; brown with gold suits warm tones and mid-century furniture.
