The wooden ceiling light INKA is inspired by Japanese shoji screens: a light wooden frame with a fine lattice holds white, translucent panels.
Design and materials
Light shines both downward and to the sides, where a geometric lattice of slim wooden battens becomes visible. On the underside, wooden struts divide the light surface into clear panels. The corners of the frame are neatly mitred, and the light wood shows a natural grain. There are four square sizes from 35 to 65 cm and a rectangular version measuring 92 × 70 cm; the light is warm white. In this way, the lamp brings the calm and order of Japanese rooms to the ceiling without looking severe.

Where the lamp shines
In the bedroom, INKA creates a calm Japandi atmosphere together with linen and pale wood. The small sizes suit a hallway, kitchen or study, while the large versions light living and dining rooms evenly. A tatami or meditation room also gains from the warm, filtered light. Combine the lamp with low furniture, linen and plants for a calm, natural space.
