The glass globe wall sconce VEIKKO combines a curved, brass-colored arm with a small glass globe – a simple vintage classic with a pull-chain switch.
Design and materials
From the round wall plate, the slim arm rises in a soft curve and then dips down to the bulb holder from which the globe hangs. The ribbed clear glass has a slightly flattened pumpkin shape and breaks the light into bright stripes. The smooth opal glass glows evenly white with very little glare, while the blue-green glass casts a colored shimmer onto the wall. The wall models are switched on and off by a long chain with a pull handle. A fourth model is the ribbed clear glass globe as a short ceiling light on a round brass plate, without a wall arm.

Where the lamp shines
Beside the bed, VEIKKO gives a calm reading light, with the pull chain within reach of the pillow. In pairs either side of a mirror, a dresser or a door, the lamp looks particularly harmonious. In the hallway, the opal glass creates soft points of light, while the ribbed clear glass suits the kitchen or living room. The ceiling version is suitable for small rooms such as a coat closet or storage room.
