The wood pendant light BERIT is a light sculpture: many fine, concentric loops of light birch wood form an open, asymmetric teardrop, with an LED light strip glowing at its center.
Design and materials
The narrow wooden slats flow into one another in wide arcs and create a light, almost floating shell. The shape changes with the viewing angle – at times it looks like a shell, at times like a drop. The integrated, elongated light element sits between the slats and glows warm white; the wood picks up the light and casts fine lines onto the walls and ceiling. Two thin wires carry the structure. You choose from three sizes, depending on whether the lamp is to accompany a small table or a large room.

Where the lamp shines
Above a round oak dining table, BERIT becomes the centerpiece of the room without weighing it down. In the living room, it hangs well in a corner above an armchair or in a high room where the shape can be seen from below. It suits Scandinavian and Japanese-inspired interiors with wood, linen and ceramics. Even when switched off, the pale wooden slats keep it a calm, natural object in the room.
