Design and materials
The ivory shade is finely and evenly pleated; the fibers of the rice paper become visible as soon as the light shines through. The slim base, which widens toward the bottom, carries a wood grain in dark nut brown or a light honey tone, and a narrow silver-colored ring separates base and shade. The wood effect of the ceramic looks warm and natural but is smooth and easy to care for. The folded paper gives the light a soft, slightly textured quality. At 31 cm high with a 10 cm base, RIIKA stands steadily and needs very little space.
