The mushroom lamp NELLA has a soft, double-domed shade that looks like two stacked cushions. A slim chrome-effect stem carries it above a flat round base – playful, compact and modern.
Design and materials
The smooth shade is clearly pinched in at the middle and spreads the light evenly in all directions. It is made not of glass but of plastic, and comes in bold pink or milky white. The light source is an integrated LED. The switch on the cable lets you choose between three color temperatures and set the brightness in ten steps; power comes via a USB plug. In pink, the lamp bathes the room in colored light; in white, it glows neutral and bright. The curved shape recalls design classics of the seventies and goes with chrome, pale wood and pastel tones.
