The paper lamp FRIGG has the flat, oval silhouette of a UFO lantern: white, fibrous paper over closely set ribs that diffuses the light softly and warmly.
Design and materials
The shade is wider than it is tall and tapers gently toward the top and bottom. Fine horizontal ribs lie closely spaced beneath the paper, and a few vertical struts hold the shape. The fibers in the paper become visible as soon as the lamp is switched on, giving the surface a natural, lively texture. A small round opening remains at the bottom, and at the top a light-colored cable leads to the ceiling. FRIGG comes in a diameter of 50 or 60 cm. Switched off, the shade looks bright and light; switched on, the whole surface glows evenly and warmly.

Where the lamp shines
Above a round or rectangular dining table, the flat shape spreads the light widely and without glare. In the living room or bedroom, FRIGG suits a calm Japandi style with pale wood, linen and ceramics. At 50 cm, it also works in smaller rooms with a low ceiling, as the shade is only 23 cm high. Two lamps side by side spread the light over a long table or a kitchen island.
