The pleated pendant light GERDA combines a short cylinder and a widely flared cone of white, finely pleated fabric – separated by a narrow dark ring.
Design and materials
The vertical pleats run from the upper rim to the lower edge and give the shade a calm, textile structure. The dark ring at the waist sets a clear contrast and emphasises the shape. The shade opens wide at the bottom, so the light falls in a focused way onto the table or floor while the fabric itself glows softly and warmly. A black cable leads to the ceiling. GERDA comes in a diameter of 50 or 60 cm; both sizes share the same proportions of short cylinder and wide cone.

Where the lamp shines
Above a round dining table, GERDA directs the light down onto the table and creates a bright, cosy dining area. In the living room or bedroom, the white pleated fabric looks light and elegant, especially with linen, pale wood and natural tones. Two lamps side by side suit a long table or kitchen island. With a warm white bulb, the fabric shimmers creamily and the pleats cast fine lines of shadow.
