The glass pendant light DORTE is a glossy glass globe with fine grooves spiralling all the way round – playful in colour, calm in form.
Design and materials
The glass is opaquely tinted and diffuses the light evenly, so that the globe glows softly from within when switched on. The diagonal grooves catch the light and bring the surface to life. The globe hangs from a white cable with a chrome-plated fitting, with a chrome-plated canopy 12 cm in diameter at the top. You choose between white, soft pink, pale yellow and turquoise blue, each 30 or 40 cm in diameter. Inside sits a single E27 light source.

Where the lamp shines
Above the kitchen island or dining table, DORTE gives glare-free, all-round soft light – timeless in white, a cheerful splash of colour in pink, yellow or blue. Several globes in different colours look especially lively in a row. In a child’s room, bedroom or hallway, the 30 cm version provides friendly general lighting. The 40 cm globe works as the central light in the living room or above a larger table, where it looks like a glossy object even when switched off.
