The marble table lamp SOFIE comes in four models on a cylindrical marble base: with a fabric shade, a wavy stone shade or a flat, mushroom-shaped glass shade in white or amber.
Design and materials
The fabric shade model combines a pale marble base with bold, dark veining, a cream cylindrical shade with a grey edge and a small marble disc on top; it runs on a rechargeable battery and dims at a touch. The stone shade is pale, slightly translucent and waved all the way round – it sits on a slim marble base with grey veins. On the glass models, a short brass-coloured neck carries a thick, rounded glass shade: white opal glass on white marble, or amber glass on green marble with a fine network of veins. In each case, the light source sits in the shade and shines warmly downwards.
