Pendant Lights

Pendant lights place light precisely above the dining table, the kitchen island or in a corner of the living room – and shape the whole room in the process. In this collection you will find pendant lights in glass, wood, ceramic, metal, fabric and natural stone, from simple domes to sculptural forms.

How to choose the right pendant light

  • Size: above a dining table, a light that is clearly narrower than the tabletop looks balanced. For long tables or kitchen islands, two or three smaller pendants are a good solution.
  • Height: hang the light so that it lights the table well, does not dazzle anyone seated and keeps the view across the table clear.
  • Materials: wood and ceramic feel warm, glass light, travertine calm and refined.

In rooms with low ceilings, flatter shapes work well; tall rooms can take larger pendant lights. Dimensions, cable length and connection are listed on each product page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine several pendant lights, or are there multi-light models?

Both are possible. VINA is a family of six small travertine shades with brass bulb holders that you can hang individually or in combination. KATRA comes as a single, double or triple version, and TAIKA as a single or triple in two sizes. Multi-light versions work well over longer dining tables or a kitchen island.

Which bulb do I need for a pendant light?

That depends on the model. On the mini pendant LYKTA the bulb stays visible and is your choice, so a decorative warm white bulb is ideal. Models with integrated LED such as PINA, SVEA or RIVA need no separate bulb at all. The technical details are listed on each product page.

Which pendant light gives glare-free light?

Shapes that hide the bulb are the most comfortable. On the 1970s-style NEDO, two nested half-spheres conceal the light source and spread the light without glare; it comes in Ø 16, 23 and 38 cm. MURA likewise lets only a narrow, warm strip of light escape between its stone and wood halves.
