The alabaster wall light MARPAR is drawn in clear, straight lines: a slender, 48 cm tall bar of genuine alabaster, held asymmetrically by a narrow brass band.
Design and materials
The square-section alabaster body stands vertically on the wall and is held in its lower third by a rectangular plate and a fine, gold-toned brushed brass band. The contrast between the pale, ivory stone and the warm metal emphasises the vertical line. The integrated LED shines through the alabaster: the light reveals the layers and veins of the stone and emerges dense, calm and glare-free. Switched off, MARPAR looks like a small natural-stone wall object. Grain, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In the entrance, above an oak console table, MARPAR welcomes you with warm, even light. Mounted on either side of a large mirror, it frames it symmetrically. In the living room, it structures a quiet wall beside the sofa or a bookcase. The slender shape suits contemporary interiors with pale wood, linen and natural plaster. In the bedroom, too, beside a wardrobe or chest of drawers, it brings calm light with an indirect feel.
