The terrazzo wall light DALA is a slender 60 cm stone column that sends its light up and down the wall.
Design and materials
The rectangular body is made of genuine terrazzo with a pale ground scattered with stone chips in cream, grey, beige and brown. It is held by a slim metal bracket at its centre, which makes the body appear to float in front of the wall. Light escapes at both ends and draws two soft beams on the wall. Two E27 sockets each take a bulb of up to 40 W, and the brightness can be adjusted with a suitable dimmer. The terrazzo pattern is distributed slightly differently on each piece.

Where it shines
In a hallway or entrance hall, DALA emphasises the vertical with its height and frames a bench or coat rack. In the living room, a pair either side of a sideboard, fireplace or picture adds an architectural accent. In the bedroom, the light works beside the headboard as calm mood lighting. The pale terrazzo harmonises with natural wood, linen and soft wall colours such as sage or sand.
