The alabaster wall light TARA is sculpture and light source in one: three stepped volumes of genuine alabaster, stacked one above the other, with no visible metal frame at all.
Design and materials
On the chalice model, a large bowl opens at the top, followed by a flared middle section and a small conical tip. The pyramid and shell models vary the sequence and proportion of the volumes and are slightly taller. Switched off, the alabaster looks ivory and almost matt; switched on, the light shines through the stone and softly traces its veins. The result is warm, glare-free light on the wall. Grain and translucency vary from piece to piece – that is part of natural stone.

Where the light comes into its own
In the entrance, above a console table, TARA welcomes you with soft light and works as a wall object during the day too.
