The alabaster wall light ARZI is all about restraint: a compact conical shade of genuine alabaster on a simple bracket, leaving the stone to make the impression.
Design and materials
The shade is cut from solid alabaster in the form of a gently tilted cone. It sits on a slender metal arm with a round wall plate and a small ball finial. The frame comes in three colours: brass, nickel or black. Switched off, ARZI looks like a small stone object; switched on, the alabaster diffuses the light within its depth rather than reflecting it from the surface. The result is a soft, glare-free light. Veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece.
