The alabaster wall sconce ARZI is all about restraint: a compact conical shade of genuine alabaster on a simple bracket, leaving the stone to make the impression.
Design and materials
The shade is cut from solid alabaster in the form of a gently tilted cone. It sits on a slender metal arm with a round wall plate and a small ball finial. The frame comes in three colors: brass, nickel or black. Switched off, ARZI looks like a small stone object; switched on, the alabaster diffuses the light within its depth rather than reflecting it from the surface. The result is a soft, glare-free light. Veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece.

Where it shines
Beside the bed, ARZI replaces the bedside lamp and keeps the surface clear, its warm light accompanying quiet evenings with a book. As a pair either side of a headboard, it looks especially balanced. In the living room it adds a point of light beside an armchair, and in the hallway it sets a soft, calm mood.
