Wall Sconces
Wall sconces bring light and wall design together. They save surface space, break up long hallways, frame a bed or mirror and add atmospheric accents in the living room. In this collection you will find wall sconces in glass, wood, ceramic, metal and natural stone, from simple globes to sculptural forms.
Tips for lighting your walls
- By the bed: a wall sconce beside the headboard replaces the bedside lamp and keeps the nightstand clear.
- In the hallway: several identical lights at regular intervals create a calm line.
- Light direction: up-and-down lights accentuate the wall, closed opal glass shades give soft light.
For reading in bed, an adjustable arm or spotlight is practical. Before you buy, check how the light is connected: a hardwired installation is a job for a qualified electrician. Mounting type, dimensions and connection are listed on the product page of each wall sconce.
