The ceramic wall sconce PLOSIA pairs a ribbed ceramic cylinder with a stand-off brass arm. The vertical texture gives the compact shade a rhythm of its own.
Design and material
The cylindrical shade measures 13 cm (5.1 in) in diameter and 14 cm (5.5 in) in height. Its vertical ribs make light and shadow alternate across the surface and emphasize the upright form. The brass arm is 15 cm (5.9 in) long and holds the shade slightly away from the wall; the round wall plate is 12 cm (4.7 in) in diameter. Compared with flatter shades, PLOSIA looks more compact and enclosed. It is available in the Ceramic version.

Where the light comes into its own
Thanks to its compact size, PLOSIA also fits narrow stretches of wall: beside the bed, in a hallway or on the wall of a reading corner.
