The travertine reading light TALOS is small, precise and homely all at once: a swivelling stone spot on a wooden plate, switched with a classic pull chain.
Design and materials
A horizontal, rectangular plate of solid walnut carries a slender travertine cylinder that can be turned in every direction on a gold-toned joint. The spot comes in natural beige or black travertine, while the wooden plate is the same for both. The porous surface of the stone remains visible; texture and tone vary from piece to piece. The integrated LED gives warm white light as a focused beam. A black ball chain acts as the switch. Choose whether the spot sits on the left or right of the plate.

Where the light comes into its own
At the head of the bed, TALOS is an ideal reading light: the spot lights your book without dazzling the person beside you. With one light on the left and one on the right, you light a double bed symmetrically. In a reading corner beside an armchair or above a desk, it delivers directed light in a small space. In the hallway, it highlights pictures or objects.
