The LED wall sconce XEDA is a slim column of light: a fluted diffuser between two black end pieces draws a vertical line of light on the wall.
Design and materials
The light consists of a black metal back with two short horizontal projections at the top and bottom. Between them sits a translucent plastic diffuser with fine vertical grooves. The relief refracts the light of the integrated LED, letting it glow evenly and with low glare along its full height. XEDA comes in four heights from 60 to 120 cm (47.2 in), each 16 cm (6.3 in) wide and 12 cm (4.7 in) deep, and in three color temperatures.

Where it shines
Beside a front door, XEDA marks the entrance with a clean vertical line of light. The shorter heights fit hallways and alcoves, while the longer versions add an architectural accent to large, pale walls. Mounted as a pair either side of a door or glazed wall, the column looks particularly symmetrical. Warm white creates a homely mood; neutral and cool white give clearer, more functional lighting.
