The LED wall sconce BRATIS reinterprets the classic wall torch: two satin tubes, held by a metal sleeve, shine upwards and downwards.
Design and materials
The slender, 40 cm (15.7 in) tall light consists of a round wall plate (Ø 10 cm (3.9 in)) and a cylindrical metal sleeve, from which a tube of translucent satin acrylic extends above and below. The metal parts are available in gold or black. The LED is integrated inside the tubes, so neither bulb nor socket is visible. The acrylic spreads the light evenly and without glare; the light weighs around 400 g. The sleeve emphasizes the center of the light and visually stretches the wall upwards.
