The marble wall sconce PACHO lets the stone speak: a simple cylinder of Viola Calacatta marble that sends light up and down the wall.
Design and materials
The vertical cylinder of pale marble is veined with dark gray and sits on a rectangular holder with an antique brass finish. Two bulbs shine upwards and downwards through the open ends, drawing two soft cones of light across the wall. The warm metal tone of the holder forms a calm counterpoint to the cool markings of the stone. The veining and color play of the marble vary from piece to piece, so each light shows its own pattern. With a projection of 9 cm (3.5 in), it stays flat to the wall.

Where the light comes into its own
In the living room, above a sideboard or beside a painting, PACHO adds a refined accent with indirect light. In the entrance or hallway, several lights structure a long wall. In the kitchen, it highlights a wall above the worktop; in the bedroom, a pair replaces bedside lamps. Pale walls and warm wood bring out the markings of the marble.
