The travertine mirror light MIKA is a linear wall light that combines two natural materials: a long bar of solid wood and short cylinders of beige travertine.
Design and materials
The horizontal wall plate with rounded ends is made of genuine solid wood, either pale and natural or in a walnut tone. On it sit two, three or four shallow cylinders of porous travertine, held by wooden ball joints and small brass-toned connectors. Beneath each cylinder is a flat diffuser from which the integrated LED sends its warm white light downwards. The combination of grained wood and mineral stone texture feels calm and homely. The pores and tone of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
Above a mirror or dressing table, MIKA spreads warm, even light that flatters the complexion. In the hallway, above a coat mirror or a console table, it creates a friendly welcome. In the bedroom, the long version can form a broad, calm band of light above the headboard. The light wood suits oak and linen; the dark version suits walnut furniture.
