The travertine wall light VIRA is a narrow column of light partly wrapped in natural stone – where the stone stops, the light comes through.
Design and materials
At its core is a diffuser of white, translucent acrylic with an integrated LED strip. Half-shells of beige travertine wrap around it in a staggered pattern, so bright, glowing sections alternate with stone surfaces. The short 30 cm model has two stone sections, the long 60 cm model three. The column sits in front of a rectangular wall base of solid wood in a walnut tone with a metal bracket. The warm white light grazes the porous surface of the travertine; texture and tone vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
Mounted on either side of a mirror in the hallway or dressing area, VIRA gives even, warm light from both sides. In a hallway, several lights structure long walls with vertical lines of light. In the bedroom or living room, the 60 cm version looks like a glowing sculpture. It suits natural stone, wood and pale plaster particularly well. Even switched off, the combination of stone, acrylic and wood remains a calm, sculptural element on the wall.
