The travertine wall light KENO brings four materials together in a single line: a black metal arch carries a travertine dome, beneath which an opal glass globe glows.
Design and materials
The curved arm in black-lacquered metal rises from a round wall plate, describes an arc and ends in a wooden sphere from which the dome hangs. Dome and wall plate stand in contrast: rough, beige travertine on one side, solid walnut-tone wood on the other; a second wooden sphere finishes the arm at the bottom. Beneath the stone sits the opal glass globe, which diffuses the light softly and highlights the texture of the dome from within. The light measures 40 cm in height and the dome 15 cm in width. The pores and markings of the travertine vary from piece to piece.
