DecoHarmonie Refund & Returns Policy

At DecoHarmonie, we want you to love every designer table lamp you bring into your home. If something isn't quite right, this policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

30-day return window

You may return most items purchased from DecoHarmonie within 30 days of the delivery date. To start a return, please email us at info@decoharmonie.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return and a brief reason. Our customer care team will respond within one business day (AEST) with return instructions and the return address in Sydney, NSW.

Condition of returned items

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be:

  • Unused, undamaged and in their original condition;
  • Returned in the original packaging, including any inserts, cables, bulbs, certificates and protective foam;
  • Accompanied by the original order confirmation or proof of purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or to apply a reasonable restocking deduction where items are returned in a condition that prevents resale (for example, missing packaging, scratches, or signs of installation).

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If your DecoHarmonie lamp arrives damaged, defective or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@decoharmonie.com, including photos of the item and packaging. We will organise a replacement, repair or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

Return shipping costs

  • Change of mind returns: the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service, as DecoHarmonie cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit back to us.
  • Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: DecoHarmonie covers all return shipping costs and will arrange a prepaid return label.

Refund timeline

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome by email. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds may take additional time to appear on your statement.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your lamp for a different model or colour, please contact us at info@decoharmonie.com. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the new item is of a different price, we will refund or invoice the difference.

Sale items and promotions

Items purchased on sale or with a promotional discount are eligible for return under the same conditions as full-price items, unless explicitly marked as a final sale on the product page.

Gift returns

If you received a DecoHarmonie lamp as a gift, you may return it for store credit equal to the value paid by the original purchaser, provided the conditions above are met.
