Living Room Pendant Lights

Using living room pendant lights well

- Clearance: where people walk underneath, the bottom of the light should be at least about 2 m above the floor.
Planning light in layers
A single pendant light is rarely enough for a whole living room. Combine it with wall, table or floor lamps so the room is not lit only from above in the evening. Warm white light of around 2700 to 3000 K makes it cozy. Alabaster and opal glass diffuse light softly, while travertine and wood shades direct it downward and make the room feel calmer. As natural stone is a natural material, veining and tone vary from piece to piece.
