The travertine pendant light MURA is made of two half-spheres: a stone dome above and a wooden bowl below. Between them glows a narrow, warm gap of light.
Design and material
The dome of genuine beige travertine shows a porous, slightly layered surface. Beneath it sits a smaller half-sphere of solid wood, in a dark walnut tone or in pale natural wood. The integrated warm white LED light emerges through the narrow ring between stone and wood and lights up the inner edge of the dome. A black canopy cap and a brown cable connect the light to the ceiling. At 23 cm (9.1 in) in diameter and 17 cm (6.7 in) high, it stays compact. The pores of the travertine and the grain of the wood vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
Above a round dining table or in a breakfast nook with a bench, MURA gives a warm, glare-free light. Above a kitchen island, two or three lights in a row look particularly harmonious. In the living room, it hangs well above a side table beside the sofa. The dark wood suits walnut and terracotta tones; the light wood suits oak, ash and pale walls.
