The travertine pendant light SKADI recalls a small hat: a travertine dome with a wide brim sits above a white half-sphere.
Design and material
The shade of beige travertine shows open pores and small hollows, with a flat, round brim. Beneath it emerges a hemispherical diffuser of white satin glass that spreads the light softly. At the top, a sphere of solid wood in a walnut tone completes the form, and the black cable is twisted. SKADI is available as a single light and as a triple version on an 80 cm (31.5 in) rail. The veining and pores of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In the bedroom, SKADI hangs low beside the bed and replaces the bedside lamp. In a living room reading corner, it gives a soft, glare-free light beside the armchair. The triple version spreads the light evenly over a dining table. Linen, oak and walnut pair well with the warm beige of the stone.
