The travertine pendant light EOS pairs a small cone of natural stone with a walnut sphere – a pared-back form with a strong contrast of materials.
Design and material
The shade is a slender cone of genuine travertine in ivory and beige, marked by natural pores and small hollows. On top sits a sphere of solid walnut that hangs from the black cable; the round canopy is also made of wood. The light emerges directly from the opening at the bottom, with no visible diffuser, and falls downwards in a focused beam. EOS is available as a single pendant or with two or three heads, arranged in a line or in a circle. The veining and pores of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
Hung low beside the bed as a single pendant, EOS becomes a reading light and keeps the nightstand clear. The two- and three-light versions suit a dining table or kitchen island, adding several warm points of light. The round group of three works over a round table or in a corner of the living room. Pale wood, linen and natural tones let travertine and walnut work together calmly.
