The wabi sabi ceiling light LAILA is a compact, round bowl with a finely textured, matte surface – simple, soft and with a hint of stone.
Design and materials
The short body is softly rounded on the outside and open at the bottom. Inside, the bowl is light-colored, and an opal white globe sits at the center as the light source, glowing without glare. The rough, matte plastic surface looks like troweled plaster and gently catches the light at the rim. You choose between white and a warm grayish brown (taupe); both versions measure 30 cm (11.8 in) in diameter and 11 cm (4.3 in) in height. The warm white LED bulb is included, so the lamp is ready to use straight away.

Where the lamp shines
In the hallway and entrance area, LAILA provides calm, even general light, especially with lime plaster, pale oak and linen. In the bedroom, dressing room or study, the small lamp, only 11 cm (4.3 in) high, also fits under low or sloping ceilings. Several lamps in a row structure a long corridor; the brown version complements earthy tones. The white lamp, on the other hand, blends almost invisibly into pale ceilings and lets furniture and walls take center stage.
