The travertine ceiling light NOMI consists of two stacked rings of stone and wood, whose inner edge is traced by a warm band of LED light.
Design and materials
An outer ring of solid wood with a walnut finish sits at the top, with a broad ring of beige, porous travertine suspended beneath it on short spacers. The center stays open, revealing the ceiling. The integrated warm white LED at 3000 K follows the inner edge of the stone and grazes its pores, bringing out the texture of the travertine in relief. With a constant height of 10 cm (3.9 in), NOMI is available in diameters of 49, 55, 59 or 65 cm (25.6 in). The grain, pores and tone of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In the living room, NOMI becomes the central feature on the ceiling and bathes the room in warm light in the evening. Above a large dining table or in an open-plan living area, the larger diameters come into their own. In the bedroom, the smaller version provides calm background light. Soft natural tones, linen and wooden furniture underline the pairing of stone and wood.
