The travertine ceiling light TILO layers three forms one above the other: a small, round canopy, a travertine dome and an opal glass globe.
Design and materials
The half-round canopy is made of metal with a wood finish, either in a light natural tone or a dark walnut tone. Below it sits a dome of raw, beige travertine with clearly visible pores. Beneath the dome emerges a white opal glass globe that gives off soft light and makes the inside of the stone glow warmly. TILO comes in two sizes: Ø 15 cm (5.9 in) and 16 cm (6.3 in) high, or Ø 23 cm (9.1 in) and 23 cm (9.1 in) high. The grain, pores and tone of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In a hallway or entrance, TILO sets a warm point of light; several small lights in a row structure a long corridor. In a living room reading corner or in the bedroom, it provides calm, soft light. The larger version works as a ceiling light for smaller rooms. Light wood, linen and mineral wall colors suit the travertine particularly well.
