The travertine ceiling light XYLA is a flat stone disc with a small wooden dome at its centre – its light falls indirectly onto the stone and the ceiling.
Design and material
The body is a broad, slightly concave disc of beige travertine with a narrow, rounded edge. The natural pores and hollows of the stone remain visible. At the centre sits a turned dome of solid wood in a warm honey tone, concealing the integrated LED module. The warm white light shines around the dome onto the stone and creates a soft halo without glare. At 9 cm high, the light stays flat. The veining and pores of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
Above a dining table, such as an oval oak one, XYLA gives a warm, even light that envelops everyone around it. In a study or living room it becomes calm ambient lighting, and in the bedroom a gentle ceiling light without harsh points of light. Mounted on a large wall, the disc looks like a stone wall piece. Pale wood, linen and off-white tones suit it particularly well.
