The alabaster wall sconce DALCE is reduced to two surfaces: a plate of genuine alabaster in front of a perforated brass plate.
Design and materials
Both elements take the form of an elongated capsule with rounded ends. The brass back plate is finely perforated and frames the narrower alabaster plate, which is held by two round brass buttons. The stone is cut from a solid block. When lit, the light of the integrated LED penetrates the alabaster, reveals its cloudy layers and emerges softly and without glare. Veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece. DALCE comes in two heights, 60 and 80 cm, each 20 cm wide.

In the living room, DALCE becomes a calm focal point beside a reading chair or above a side table. In the bedroom a pair flanks the bed, and in a hallway or stairwell the 80 cm version visually stretches the wall. Choose the size according to ceiling height and wall space: 60 cm for alcoves and standard ceiling heights, 80 cm for tall walls and generous rooms. The light is best suited to warm mood lighting rather than bright task lighting.
